You can view the Browser Test page using different versions of the Netscape browser to see how the browser's features have changed (or evolved) over time. This is not just true of Netscape, all types of browsers have new features added to them as browsers have developed. Instructions of what to do are given below:

• Start up Netscape version 2 and type in the following URL: http://www.ns3-net.com. Follow the link to the Browser Test page.

• Examine the page using the Netscape version 2 browser.

• Repeat for Netscape version 3.

• Compare with Netscape version 2.

• Repeat for Netscape version 4.

• Compare with Netscape versions 2 and 3.
