Below are some web sites that contain streaming video or audio in various video formats. You may not have the necessary software to run all of these video formats.

Note: For convenience, most websites will 'embed' the video streaming software into Internet Explorer, rather than loading up the player in its own window.

What's On - Apple's own website offers a variety of links to QuickTime video streams, including film and video game trailers, news and weather reports and popular music videos.

BBC News - If you have RealOne Player installed, you can view video clips covering all the major stories on the BBC News web site.

Yahoo! and c|net - Both of these organisations offer up-to-date news bulletins from their websites in a choice of RealOne and Windows Media streaming formats. 

Audio Streams

There are a number of 'radio' stations available on the Internet. You will find that most national radio stations can now be accessed from the Internet as well as the airwaves.

BBC Radio 4 - The BBC website offers comprehensive online access to all of their national radio stations in RealOne format, as well as the option to listen to programs whenever you want.

Radio-Locator is a free Internet radio search engine. It has a database of major radio stations from across the world that can be accessed from the Internet.
